I Divine 02:36
I divine you'd find my lover I divined her mood and temper Waiting for a sign. I divined the neon in crosses I divined the dark in my closet Waiting for a sign. I divine a wonderful family I divine the things that inspire me Waiting for a sign. I divine a friendship with kindness I divine three things that will bind us Waiting for a sign. Who were you? Who are you? Who were you? Who are you?

Take it easy I’ve got you covered Fighting for your peace of mind friend I’m the devil feeding a frenzy Spilling out the mouths of hangmen And the metal clings to your fingers Soaking deeper biting harder I’m the nail tearing through your wrist Don't forget to thank me later Crazy for you I’m spinning Did you need it harder than ever Just because you couldn't grab it Reaching out to fill your desire Just to find it burns inside you And the regret moves in to choke you Soaking deeper biting harder I’m the reason you've made an error Sorry but you'll never get it Crazy for you I’m spinning Wait. Will you ever grow? Will we ever know. If you’re gonna bring me back around. How you gonna learn? Would you ever burn? Will you ever bring me back around?

It’s all right You've moved on It’s all right Cause you've been 25 for days It’s all-cool You've grown with ease It’s all-fine Cause you have everything but me Cut something, forget to rise this morning It’s all right You're thunder It’s all right Coming from a monsters cave It’s all gray And booming It’s all gray And loosing track of perfect you Cut something , forget to rise this morning Well someday your life will give you something And someday your life will tell you something for me Further down Bleakly up Towards the lost Or next to me

I heard the reverse of what I perceive. The earth is fat with all our bones. And all the awesome hard parts that come around again remind me of a poem, a peak, and proximity. And just because that one time that you took offense… It’s still the same. Cause I believe the last words that I heard you say . . . I'll stick with them. Un-earthed, and dust filled up the cracks. Its age engraved (much time passed it by). And here I am just thinking on a never-ending man. His poetry invites a slice of mystery to sing a song and dance while alone inside a cave (the art in me). And even though the bone has turned into sand, the still is still.

I feel how you feel And it rubs the wrong way As words find their home and nest away It makes sense in time If I look back and think And try to picture what it was I had in mind My mind can tell the difference, if only cause the signs are everywhere We met everyday But It wasn’t the same I pushed you and it made you want to move in closer I loved when you’d sing And dance in my room While shadows made a memory from the outline of you And you can tell the difference, if only cause the signs are everywhere It’s funny how sometimes when you least expect to be impressed a moment comes and opens you up to see the things that left.

Can I keep you clear? Or will I soon forget the time we watched pass by? Is the fragrance gone? Or is it tucked away and buried in my hair? Can my eyes break through? Or is the yellow light still dancing on us all? And that tangled sound. Can I keep you clear? Or will your entropy bash up your audience? Is the friction gone? Or is the falling chain still rattling in the snares? Can my dreams break through? Or is the density a passionate thought machine? And that tangled sound.

about

The songs on Will We Ever Grow are a collection of the tracks we, as a happy musical unit could complete in the time restraints we had. We had been playing a full 8 song set throughout 2013 and felt pretty confident in the tracks we grew. There was an addition 3 or four songs that we would throw into the live show and an extra 10 songs that I wanted to have on this album, but considering we only had two days to record the basic instrument tracks... that wasn't in the cards. So, what we have is a short blast of recorded history showing what Old And Gray sounds like with a stellar - real backing band. This is the perfect snap shot of what Old And Gray was in 2013.
